TFT: Teamfight Tactics

Teamfight Tactics is a strategic puzzle game with a live board, where you don't so much fight yourself as assemble the perfect team and watch how it will fight for you. Imagine chess, but the pieces are bright champions with their own characters and abilities, and the teams change every time.

In each round, you have a little gold in your hands — this resource quickly teaches you how to save and take risks where it really matters. You buy champions, choose which of them will enter the battlefield, how to arrange them (sometimes one cell to the right or left decides the outcome of the battle) — and let your tactics "float freely". The battle itself takes place without your intervention: everything is decided by pre-selected hero bundles and your foresight.

What catches on? First, there is the strategic depth. You can play the same character in two ways and get completely different results. That very famous "synergy" between champions opens up the possibility for a bunch of tricky combos— from bundles of magicians to crazy assassin assassins. And the improvements? If you find three copies of the same character, you will get a powerful version of it; if you add suitable equipment, you can change its role.

Of course, not everything depends only on intelligence and calculation: chance also rules here. It happens that the right champion does not appear in the store in any way — you have to get out of what you have (this moment is great for tempering).

The game is perfect for those who like to make long-term plans rather than cut from the shoulder: if you like to analyze scenarios in advance, weigh decisions step by step (and are not eager to check the reaction to speed), TFT will quickly drag you into its process.
