Imagine little cartoon ducks who, instead of strolling around a pond, engage in criminal showdowns with guns at the ready. Quack Bag: Duck Mafia offers just such a silly yet captivating experience, combining auto-battler with the popular item fusion mechanic.

The core of the gameplay revolves around the character's backpack. Space is limited, so placing weapons and equipment requires a thoughtful approach: every slot counts. Similar items can be combined into more powerful versions, unlocking interesting combinations and synergies between different weapon types. Gradually, the humble duck transforms into a true street crime boss with an impressive arsenal. The story takes the player through several themed regions inspired by classic tropes of the criminal underworld: the Italian mafia, American gangs, and Japanese yakuza neighborhoods. Runs are short, allowing you to try different strategies without long waits.

Unfortunately, the implementation suffers from noticeable issues. Enemy squads regularly gain a range and damage advantage, making some runs virtually hopeless from the start. Energy for attempts runs out quickly, and is most easily replenished through real-money purchases. Ads appear after almost every level, and purchasing the premium version without ads, according to player reviews, doesn't always completely solve the problem.
